Its snowing but not here in singapore
Finally its christmas. Yea finally, which means the end of the year is in days. The battle with A levels shall continue. However, not this week, i m still gonna enjoy the very last bit of my time to enjoy and play.
Today's bit different from the usual Christmas from past years. In the past, we usually stay home and do nth during this day (yes, in fact we dun really celebrate it) . We only cut a cake juz to celebrate my mum's birthday. Well, its totally different for the 25 dec 2006. My relatives came down and we have some sort of party and gathering. Had some fun and it seemed so different from b4.
The CIP the other day went on smoothly with some minor hiccups. Generally it was still ok. We had fun time baking the cookies on thurs and tryin them out ourselves. Not bad actually. The party for old folks was quite a success. Most of the old folks were so happy after that and even the volunteers had fun together with them.
My life seem so boring somehow so in this coming week, other than tryin to finish up those dreadful and disgusting hw, i m going to have lots of fun and pack my week up with outings.
And yar, I still want to wish every1 Merry X'mas!! esp to my closest friends, family and the special 1.
Seniors' dinenr
Last night was really joyous and happy, with us having a great dinner with our Lifeguards' seniors. Quite a few of us J1-going-to-J2s went for the dinner, and its only 4 of us, 2 guys and 2 girls. Now, where's the rest, especially our 2 presidents? Well every1 is either really busy, overseas or having OGL camps. Our dear Xiang Un went Sri Lanka, really wonder did he make it back. haha. Jonny is on multiple trips overseas, lucky isn't he?
Well, dinner was not bad with us craping a whole lot, in fact it was the dynamic duo of Jac and Lynnette who made the dinner an entertaining one. Jokes and lame jokes went on and on till we really couldnt stand much of them. In all it was a real good dinner, however, i wonder when we could really see them again. They really treated us well earlier this yr, i m gonna miss all the fun Andy and Mark actually provided.
Tmr is going to be the baking of cookies for the old folks' party on friday morning. Hope we wun mess up too much.
LOng Time No Post
Wow it seems that it has been a really long time since i wrote anything here and it seems so quiet here too.
A few days after the previous post, i went to bangkok. In fact it was from the 25 to 27. The trip started well but the main day of outing and shopping wif my family, aunts and cousins, i fell ill. Its quite irritating and i felt that i wasted my trip there. I only thing that i managed to enjoy was the city tour. Got a few nice shots which i will post another time if i m able to.
The rest of the 2 weeks was quite dreadful for me. I practically went on an emotional roller coaster. The feeling of guilt of not doing any work came in when i play but when i went to do some work, i just cannot concentrate. Thats only the first problem. The next thing that caused me problems is the affairs of the heart. Its the sickening feeling of missing someone. I really hate all these emotions sometime i feel that i rather be a robot with no emotions at all.
Only 2 highlights was last friday's band concert and sunday's marathon. The band concert last friday was really good but its the length of 3 hrs that put some of us off. Kai Yan being tired after canoe training went to the concert but she dozed off after intermission. Yi Li went like when is it going to end.
Sunday i went for the Singapore Marathon. NO i didnt run 42.195km. I only did the team race of 10km with my father, sis, my 2 cousin and one of my cousin's bf. Not bad for us tt we got 74 out of 109 teams even when 4 of them walked. Only my n my cousin ran all the way. The funny happened was when i mistaken the last 500m for last 50m and started to sprint a bit but when its really the last 50m i couldnt carry on with the same pace and have to slow down a little. And i saw quite a few ppl i knew throughout my run. I saw my coach there on duty at the first aid post, kai yan as road marshal, some seniors who took part and some of my ex-NH mates there running.
Well thats it for now. I think i talked too much that people would want to read.
