Lifeguards Chalet.
Life has been rather busy i would say. Busier as can be. I guess what they always say is true that the only easy day was yesterday.
Work work work then training and training. It really does take some strain on me. I am living off a 6hr max slp day and this is seriously unhealthy. Somehow I have to find more time to rest and sleep properly.
Much has went by and yesterday was NTU's annual lifeguard retreat. It was the usual BBQ and stuff at downtown east with booze and stuff. Though it sounds boring, somehow, I still find it rather nostalgic to stay over in a chalet again with friends. It feels like its really been ages since u stay over in a chalet with a bunch of people.
Spent most of the early part of the night helping to cook and obviously eat. The later part of the remaining night was spent tending those drunk. hahahha.. I was having some chat and discussion in the room. By the time we went down, Alex and the rest had alrdy downed the whole bottle .
These buggers end up drunk and vomitting. Mark was the worst. He spend more than 3 hrs, sitting in the room after that, and having numerous occasions where he vomitted. We ended up, helping to clean up time aft time and laughing off all the funny crap that these drunk guys are doing.
Lesson to be learnt: DO NOT GET DRUNK. hahha.. somehow, I am thankful I went down late and didnt end up like them. I would find it torturous to vomit like them and a waste of money to take those alcohol and ended up vomiting them all out..
Come back home this morning and afternoon, i was out again. I went for the Nationals team managers meeting and after that, I went on to meet adrian and some of the blk A ppl for the movie, Inception.
The movie had really a great storyline about entering one's mind through dreams. It can be rather confusing at times but somehow, one can feel the distortion btw dreams and reality. Really nice idea that was explored for movie and the idea is indeed very fresh.
Well, enough said. I m dead beat. Guess its time to turn in..
